Dissecting the MCITP Enterprise Support Technician

The Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional for the Enterprise Support Technician is Microsoft’s way to validate and check a person’s acquired knowledge and expertise that are required to install, configure, and set-up the Windows Vista Operating System on a desktop or portable system.  

It is essentially critical that before a learner gets into the way of taking this module, he or she has the understanding on what road is going to be taken. Generally, the road to take to make sure that you get to achieve the certification is very rigid.  Apparently, the learner must have a clear understanding about effective management of the system security, configuration of the Windows Vista, able to troubleshoot and give first time fix to known network issues.  It is suggested that an experience as a level 2 support for desktop and portable is manifested.  

Specifically, a person who wishes to engage in Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional for the Enterprise Support Technician should posses the following skills:

a.    Be able to control, manage, and supervise company workflow.  
b.    Be able to effectively perform installation and configuration of the desktop and portable OS and the embedded applications.
c.    Be able to perform correct troubleshooting the desktop and portable OS including the installed applications such as network connectivity and other settings.
d.    Be able to perform installation of the required hardware devices and the necessary driver files for those hardware devices.  This is not limited to the common peripheral devices on a computer system.  It can include personal and mobile devices.
