First of all, Photoshop CS6 does not support Mavericks, so if you run into any trouble, you’re on your own.
I tried out Mavericks on a Parallels install and I did get CS6 running, and it worked fine for me, however Mavericks, being in the first beta stages as of now is not stable.
If you use Photoshop seriously, for work or on critical projects, then I will strongly recommend you do not upgrade as of course there are some stability issues.
Personally in about an hour of using photoshop on Mavericks, Photoshop crashed once and successfully recovered what I was working on, but that doesn’t mean that will be anyone else’s experience.
TL;DR: Need photoshop or a working computer for that matter? Don’t upgrade just yet.
If you want to be ahead of the game, get the Golden Master when it comes out.
