ITIL Certification Test : The online course and the text book is a great complement to each other. The structure of the course presents a clear overview of the phases of ITSM. The text book uses a single scenario/case study througout the phases to explain how each phase is actually applied which is an excellent way to summarize the concepts. The online course is presented by Tim Malone & a lady alternating between sessions. Tim is great as he actually lectures (speaks and explains) but the lady was purely reading from the slides an area that definitely can be improved on. I wish Tim did all the lectures. The support was great as I have sent emails to them couple times on concepts/terms that I was not clear and they reponded promptly. The weakest area of both the text book and the online course is the review test at the end of each session. There are only 5 online questions for each phase and 10 questions in the text book which I don’t feel as sufficient to quiz the readers if they had really grasped the critical details. There is a mock exam at the end of the course which was a very good practise.
