ITIL® implementation is basically concerned with the use of the ITIL® process in any organization in the best possible manner. ITIL® implementation is very simple to know but requires a lot of research and accuracy to increase the profitability and efficiency of the organization.
OGC is responsible for the accreditation of ITIL® and there is no bar attached in absorbing the guidelines of OGC. However, it is very important to note that there is no particular implementation process. What you will have at your disposal are the best practices and these best practices have to be researched in context of your organisation.
Another important element in ITIL® implementation is ‘customization’. A process may work very effectively in other company but it may fail in your company due to the nature of work and working conditions. You have to set plans and meetings with the experienced employees and ITIL® professionals to determine the best set of practices. It is advised that all the practices should be implemented at once for best results.
