ITIL Intermediate Certification : Excellent effort put in by professionals to create a framework to promote and facilitate discussion for structuring and providing IT services. I created my account as directed & downloaded the kit PDF this tracks more closely with the online presentation. To get the most out this framework I have to constantly make an effort and be open to assimilate the language the vernacular and structure created by ITIL otherwise I find myself getting into an imaginary debate with the authors about their definitions and layout of the diagrams. I find it best to put on my Consultant’s hat as I read listen and understand ITIL’s point of view; just as I am supposed to do with my clients. As I dig deeper into the curriculum I am somehow reminded of James Martin and his efforts towards creating IEW (Integrated Engineering Workbench). Using ITIL as a baseline by service engineering and management professionals gives the team a head start by overcoming conceptual and common communication mishaps and get down to solving the real challenges facing the business organization.
