Course OverviewThe ITIL Cluster Practitioner Program -Plan and Improve is a five-day course leading to the examination for the EXIN Practitioner Certificate - Plan and Improve. The course is aimed at professionals who will participate in managing, organizing and optimizing the operations of the Plan and Improve Processes in an IT organization which has implemented, or started to implement, ITIL based Plan and Improve processes.
Program Objectives
- Manage, organize and optimize the Capacity Management Process.
- Manage, organize and optimize the Availability Management Process.
- Manage, organize and optimize the IT Service Continuity Management Process.
Who should attend? The target group consists of operational staff and managers wishing to extend their skills in planning, monitoring, reporting and optimizing, related to the processes of Capacity, Availability and IT Service Continuity Management. Pre-requisites - Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (based on ITIL).
- Before taking the Practitioner examination the candidate must have attended accredited training and successfully completed three required practical assignments.
Delivery The course combines short lectures with individual and group assignments. PowerPoint presentations are used in addition to supporting exercises and assignments. Mock examinations help to prepare for the multiple-choice EXIN examination.
Certification ITIL PRACTITIONER PLAN AND IMPROVE PROGRAM ITIL IPPI Certification Over the 5 days participants will complete three formal practical assignments. On day 5 of the course, participants can take the Foundation Certificate Exam (paper-based), comprising 40 multiple choice questions over 120 minutes as developed by EXIN. The Practitioner Certificate is an internationally recognised accreditation issued by EXIN. To be awarded the Practitioner Certificate in IT Service Management, participants must achieve a result of 65% or higher in the exam and complete three practical assignments.
