Studying for Managers exam?


Having recently gone through the arduous, though rewarding task of sitting my Managers Exam, I found it incredibly necessary to use mnemonics ( ok – I had to google how to spell that word).


So to help those who are also on the Service Managers study trail:


My favourite Mnemonic – Benefits of Service Management:


S – System led benefits – eg improvements in security, availability etc

E – Enhanced customer satisfaction as Service Provider knows what is expected of them

R – Reliable business support is provided due to improved quality of service

V – MotiVated staff and improVed job satisfaction

I – ITSC procedures are more focused and more confident in ability to follow when required

C– Clearer view of IT Capability

E – Enhanced and better information on current services


I know that there is so much to remember with Managers – and so any little tid-bits to help is always welcomed, I believe.
