- Generate monthly job cost commitment reports, monitor, and adjust over/under billings, and anticipate profit projections.
- Interact with appropriate internal and external personnel to clearly and thoroughly communicate proper standards and expectations and respond to and resolve any concerns.
- Confirm your team coordinates with project management, design engineering, procurement, project controls and other functional departments and personnel in establishing and maintaining priorities to ensure the success of the project.
- Be accountable for supervising the detailed design, budgetary costing, standardized construction, and final inspection of facility projects.
- Be accountable for contracting ensure all contracts, job start and other purchasing items are accurate, thorough, completed and distributed by the scheduled due dates.
- Collect and validate construction market, lease up, performance and benchmark data from various internal and external sources.
- Organize, plan and manage special inspections, installation and testing of equipment, systems, and instrumentation and controls.
- Select and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project, overseeing performance of subcontractors.
- Confirm your team oversees quality control staff who ensure, through a materials testing process that contractors are in compliance with uniform standard specifications.
- Confirm your organization supports the planning and estimating stage of projects to ensure the most efficient, safe, and economical form system are incorporated into the project design.
- Meet with internal strategic engineering groups, operations, network teams and business units to collect detailed project requirements.
- Provide related feedback to the deployment, development, and engineering team on how to design equipment and sites for better/faster/cheaper site builds.
- Make sure that your group writes contracts and purchase orders using organization boilerplate language to document all ordered work, schedules, projected costs, change orders and technical specifications.
- Manage work with schedules and learns to coordinate projects in logical steps and budget the time necessary to meet each deadline.
- Ensure you boost; understand and be exposed to all aspects of the real estate lifecycle with a focus on acquisition, development, construction and business plan implementation.
