No, not to worry. ITIL® foundation, Practitioner and Manager certificates are certificates you have worked hard for – and they will stay yours and valid. The OGC (office of Government Commerce) has confirmed from the start that no recertification is needed. Many training providers, including The Art of Service, will offer update courses once the ITIL® V3 books are finalize (expected April 2007). These courses will range from breakfast sessions to 2-3 day classes, and will be available the moment (well at least a few long working days and nights later) the books are released.
