ITIL V3 Service Manager : I wanted to prepare myself for the ITIL Foundation certificate and was looking for a mixture between book and eLearning and came across the ITIL Foundation Certification Kit from The Art of Service. After going through the Study Guide – which is well written and covers all important areas – I went through the eLearning Course and read the book a second time. I had already quite some experience with ITIL processes so most of the subject covered were not new to me but still I was able to learn new things and also relearn known areas. After learning for about 2 months I took the exam ISEB ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (BH0-006). I passed with 98% (39 of 40 questions). Most questions were different from the ones you practice in the training but everything that you learn from the book and online exam covered all the subjects of the exam. Also there were a lot of questions where you really needed to understand the subject just using logic wouldn’t have helped you. Almost none of the questions had obviously wrong answers. Again – understanding was the key to success! The Certification Kit was definitely worth the money and I can highly recommend it.
