What is EU Cyber Resilience Act?
Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (the Cyber Resilience Act, CRA) introduces horizontal cybersecurity requirements for Products with Digital Elements (PDEs) placed on the Union market and for their manufacturers, importers and distributors. PDEs cover hardware, software and remote data processing solutions that are connected directly or indirectly to a device or network and intended to be placed on the market separately or alongside a product. It comprises 24 controls organised across 7 domains, and applies in the European Union.
