EU AI Liability Directive
The proposed EU AI Liability Directive (COM/2022/496) establishes uniform rules for damage claims related to AI systems. It introduces a rebuttable presumption of causality between non-compliance with the AI Act and AI output/failure to produce output, and provides rights to disclosure of evidence from providers and deployers of high-risk AI systems.
